Training Report for the ITI, Kokrajhar students at CBTC premises

The students of ITI Kokrajhar have been trained at CBTC campus from 5th march to 28th march, 07. At the initial stages of the training, we took theory classes for …days and there after we started practical classes on Housing at Sualkuchi. The students were made aware on the different techniques of jointing used at construction. They were taught the processes of treatment on Bamboo using for the construction.
 
They were given job to built house at Sualkuchi. After completion of housing, They were familiarized about the furniture and basketry making processes. The students were given assignment to make furniture. The students successfully made one Bamboo furniture jointly. The students were taken to different bamboo production centres and different marketing centres in around Guwhati as field exposure during the training. We also took theory and practical classes on basketry items. We took theory classes on Bamboo vegetative propagation and Bamboo Industrialization through slide show presentation.

We also took class test on various subjects and students were evaluated after completion of training.
